This is another project which I have created for my graphic design course at CIT. I have always had a fascination with insects, and cicadas in particular, given I grew up to their chirping in the summer and collecting their molted shells off trees.

I played around with a bright colour palette, to not only represent the irridescent colours of a cicadas' exoskeleton, but to provide a mechanism to define the 'C' and 'J' letterforms that form the wings.
